Buzzfeed: “10 Sex Kinks that Prove There’s No One Way to Do It”

An Interview with Katharine Gates, Author of  “Deviant Desires: A Tour of the Erotic Edge”

The New Book Includes The Baroness and Balloons

Katharine Gates

A highly-illustrated (including a balloon party photo from my Fetish Retinue) article based on an interview with author Katharine Gates about some of the kinks discussed in her new book, Deviant Desires: A Tour of the Erotic Edge, available now.

An excerpt:

“Balloons combine the touchy-feely and smelly power of latex with the excitement of growth and the fear of explosions. Balloon fans may enjoy watching their partners orally inflate them, or they may want to pop the balloons in a variety of ways using other core kinks such as cigarettes or feet. Partner play can involve bouncing on large balloons.”

A Vogue Writer Seeks Latex Advice from The Baroness

Maria Ward wrote an Article in Vogue, where she discussers visiting The Baroness for advice on wearing latex for an evening out.

“After calling several of the city’s more fashionable adult shops, including The Pleasure Chest (of Sex and the City fame) and coming up empty-handed, I found what I was looking for at The Baroness Latex—a latex-only boutique in the East Village where celebrities like Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Madonna, Katy Perry, and even Kylie Jenner have all turned to for their various latex fashion needs.”

I alternate hosting the event each month with Lady Zombie.
