A New Monthly Party for Intelligent Technophiles and Discerning Fetishists
NYC Co-conspirators: myself, Editrix Abby, Xris Smack and Irene Malatesta have conceived an "open source" format, with different guest producers each month, bringing fresh concepts as well as a discerning new pair of eyes. The guest producer will be both the evening's curator and its docent, assisting with displaying the art and choosing the prize recipient. DJs, VJs, performers, go-go installationists, designers and artists in all media are invited to partYcipate in unique, perhaps-as-yet-unthought-of new ways.
Embracing the Dadaist anti-aesthetic, each month OBJECTify will obsess about one particular OBJECT. This month's OBJECT (July 12): TNT
I'll mostly be presiding downstairs in "The Rubber Room"
Influenced by Burning Man and its "no spectators" ethos, OBJECTify encourages guests to partYcipate, so each attendee contributes to the evening's collective outcome. To encourage guests there is reduced admission for the uniquely dressed to reflect, reject or otherwise demonstrate a grasp of the party theme, and a $100 cash prize for the most inspired!
The objective - to unite the many tribes: twisted, gay, straight and bi; male, female, trans; young, old; costumers, anachronists and cross dressers; the kinky and the queer; the poly-amorous, swingers; sadists, masochists, fetishists; fairies, fashionistas; freaks, geeks, hippies; hipsters, wishters and wannabe's. While, providing an environment where even the most "vanilla" of adventurers can feel safe to explore, experiment and experience. |
